The moon is a silver penny

The moon is a silver penny

On the counter of the sky,

While stars are piled like lemon drops

In glass jars, stacked up high.

The clouds swell and billow,

Round the giant’s craggy face,

As he sells humbugs and toffees

To the planets, far out in space.

Just a piece of planetary nonsense!
